Get your film ready for the big screen

Festivals and theaters worldwide require a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) to project your film. Upload your final master film and our trusted partner, DCP For All, prepares the industry-standard package. Your final completed delivery link arrives securely inside your CineLot Chat and is safely stored in your personal DCP Vault.

How It Works?

What is a DCP?

A Digital Cinema Package, or DCP, is the professional format movie theaters and film festivals use for theatrical screenings. It isn't something you can email like a screener, and it isn't the same as the copy you upload for online viewing. If your film is only screening online, you don't need one.

How It Works

Four steps. You don't need to know anything technical about DCPs to get one.

01

Create your order

Tell us the film, the length, and the quality you need.

02

Upload your master

Send the finished film to DCP For All through Media Shuttle.

03

DCP For All prepares it

They build the package and send the delivery link through CineLot Chat.

04

Save the file

The link lands in your DCP Vault, ready when a venue asks.

Professional DCP Creation & File Delivery

DCP For All prepares the DCP while Media Shuttle handles the large-file transfer. CineLot keeps the delivery link with the film when a venue needs it.

DCP For All

DCP For All prepares the DCP from your master and sends the finished delivery link through CineLot Chat when it is ready.

Media Shuttle

Media Shuttle is the transfer service used to move large master files to DCP For All and return completed DCP delivery links.

What it costs

Priced by the minute, so a short film costs short-film money. You see the full price before you pay.

Standard quality

$3per minute

What most festivals and theaters screen. With the set-up fee, a 12-minute short is $136 and a 94-minute feature is $382.

Higher quality

$6per minute

Choose this only if the venue asked for 4K, and only if your master was finished in 4K. A 12-minute short is $172.

  • Set-up fee

One per DCP, the same whatever the length of your film.

$100 for short film$0 for feature film

  • Captions or subtitles

Your subtitles built into a separate version, so the venue can play your film with them or without them. Send an .srt with your master.

    $50

  • 30-day download link

How your finished DCP reaches you. Included with every order.

    Free

  • Film Festival Cloud

Keeps your DCP available for a year instead of 30 days, so a second festival doesn't mean paying for the DCP again.
